The BC/Yukon Command Legion Foundation has raised $250,000 towards the purchase of a Lokomat machine for Legion Veterans Village. A Lokomat is a highly specialized piece of medical equipment which will provide invaluable assistance to Veterans and First Responders who have suffered mobility injuries. It works by retraining the brain to reactivate muscles so the injured can learn to walk again.
